Former Postrio employees took over this space that was once upon a time a blacksmith`s shop. Keeping the brick walls, steel rings and weathered stone floor of its previous incarnation, they turned the restaurant into a gourmet mecca with high-end sensibilities. Main course winners include a juicy pork chop with an olive tapanade and grilled salmon, expertly cooked, and served over fresh pasta.
Located in what was an old stable house with the iron rings used to tie horses still on the walls, this bistro serves American and Californian cooking. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $20 to $30, and in general, people dress casual, but fashionable.
